Guatemala Update - April 29, 2022
Our last mission’s team to Guatemala went down to serve the first week of March 2020. One week after the team returned home, borders were closed to travel due to Covid restrictions. As conditions have been improving, the Missions team will be investigating the possibility of putting together a short-term service team for 2023.
Our partner organization in Panajachel Guatemala, Porch de Solomon, has been striving to continue serving “For the lost, the least, and the last." In March 2022, they resumed hosting short-term teams. They had four teams to aid with home building and one team for medical clinics. They are also in process of transitioning to new executive directors.
Prayers are requested for both the Porch’s team, and for guidance to the Missions team.
