Centenary United Methodist Church on McHenry Avenue between Norwegian and Tokay in Modesto, is seeking a YOUTH MINISTRY Leader to direct the church’s ministry to middle school and high school youth.
The position involves working with the pastor and an advisory team to plan and implement ministry opportunities for students in grades 7 through 12 to grow in knowing and applying
God’s Word, developing and deepening a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and experiencing Christ-centered fellowship with other youth.
We are looking for a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ who has exceptional interpersonal skills and proven experience working with youth in a church or other faith-based organization.
The position is part-time, 20 hours per week, and involves leading programs, events and activities on Sunday mornings and one evening a week. Pay is based on experience.
