Modesto Gospel Mission
The Gospel Mission is a local organization devoted not only to feeding and sheltering the homeless, but to breaking the cycle of homelessness and restoring hope to those people in need.

Loopy Ladies - Gospel Mission Project
During the last six months, the Loopy Ladies (name we gave ourselves) have been knitting, crocheting, and/or looming to make hats and scarves. On Wednesday, November 24th, Centenary Church will contribute 192 hats and scarves to give away at the "Thanksgiving at the Mission" event.
It was fun getting together each month, creating and adding these practical, warm and colorful items to our inventory. We also received help from several donations of yarn and a monetary gift to purchase more yarn when needed.
As part of the Loopy Ladies, I would like to acknowledge the dedication and commitment of these ladies making and giving the hats and scarves to those in need. A blessing indeed.
A huge thank you goes to Sharon Benson, Diane Braner, Nelda Contreras, Jeanette Parsons, Karen Lindval, Lorrie Ramos and Sue Sitton.
Great job! Thank you, ladies!
