Questions - (21:12) Where was Paul told not to go? What was his response (21:14)?
Grab your journal or use the notes section on your phone.
Respond to the Scripture reading with your thoughts, questions, and/or prayer response to today’s Bible verses.
Who was instrumental in your life in helping you to meet and/or follow Jesus?
There have been many people who have been instrumental in helping me to follow Jesus. But, without a doubt, the person most responsible for not only helping me to meet Jesus but continuing to set the example on how to follow him is my mother. My mother always took my brother and me to church (St. Stephens United Methodist Church in Memphis) on Sunday and as we got older to Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, then MYF and church camp at Lakeshore near Kentucky Lake. One of my earliest memories from my childhood, in fact, was being in the church nursery. My mom still sets the example in her faithful service to her church, her Bible Study Group, and her prayers. As I get older, I realize just how blessed I have been to have always had Jesus in my life. Although my path has not always been perfectly smooth, how wonderful it has been to know I was never walking it alone.
