Centenary Christmas Devotional - 2009
John 1:1-14

Merry Christmas! You’ve made it through this Christmas devotional! Congratulations! So let’s go out with a bang shall we?
In these verses, the Word is referring to Jesus. Today, we celebrate Jesus becoming flesh and dwelling with us. We celebrate His choice to bring light into the darkness and we rejoice that by believing in Him we have the right to be children of God. May today be a reminder of His love for you and His choice to be born as a baby to bring you salvation. As you open gifts, think of the generosity God gave of us in sacrificing His Son to pay the price for our sin.

Suggested Prayer: Stop today amongst all the busy-ness and think about the gift of Jesus. Give Him praise and Glory for His amazing love!

Each year, after the 9:00 and 11:00 services Christmas Eve, I love singing outside the church doors as our church family leaves for home. Lots of hugs, such joy on everyone's faces, - Jesus in born!
